What we collect
When you use Remixify, we collect:
- Account information — your email address when you sign up.
- Content you submit — the text you paste into the remix tool to generate outputs. This content is processed by our AI model to produce your requested output.
- Usage data — which templates you use, how many remixes you run, and when you use the product. This helps us improve the tool and enforce free-tier limits.
- Technical data — browser type, IP address, and basic analytics via Vercel Analytics (privacy-preserving, no cookies, no fingerprinting).
How we use your data
- To operate the product and generate your remix outputs.
- To enforce usage limits (5 free remixes per day on the free plan).
- To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.
- To send product updates if you opt in.
AI processing and your content
The text you submit is sent to an AI model to generate your output. We do not use your submitted content to train AI models. Content submitted through Remixify is processed transiently for the purpose of generating your requested output and is not stored for training purposes.
Data storage
Your account data and saved remixes are stored in our database (Supabase, hosted on AWS). Data is stored in the United States. We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the third-party services needed to operate the product:
- Supabase — authentication and database
- Vercel — hosting and edge functions
- Anthropic — AI processing (content submitted is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy)
Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication only. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Vercel Analytics is cookie-free.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights or to delete your account, contact us at the email below.
Children
Remixify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the product after changes constitutes acceptance.
